Sherren Sandy is the new Special Events Manager for Atlanta Ballet. She works closely within the company’s Development team, partnering with the Marketing, Production and Artistic teams to successfully strategize and execute the Ballet’s signature events throughout the season. She serves as the Ballet’s primary liaison for all volunteer planning committees as well as the Corps de Ballet Guild. She also handles logistics for all Ballet donor parties and receptions.
With more than eight years working for non-profit arts organizations, Sherren has organized and facilitated the execution of more than 500 events ranging from wedding receptions, private and public functions to exhibitions openings, black tie dinners, annual fundraisers and more. Her “grace under pressure” work philosophy has aided in her successful planning of events ranging in size from 25 to 4,000.
