A Senior Compliance and Quality Improvement Consultant at Cerner Corporation, Kedra Bennekin is an experienced manager with strong understanding of sales strategy, business development, contracts and agreements and compliance. In 2012 Kedra joined Cerner Corp., a company laser focused on contributing to the systemic improvement of health care delivery and the health of communities, and since then she has been a versatile member of sales and finance, project management and the solution lifecycle management organizations. She has been responsible for consultation and negotiation of terms and conditions, as well as guidance on regulatory and corporate compliance issues for the healthcare IT industry. During her tenure at Cerner Corp., Kedra has consulted with client development sales professionals regarding legal terms and conditions as well as the financial aspects of contracts ranging from 0 to over 1 million dollars. She has advised internal clients on methods for minimizing risk to Cerner while negotiating terms and conditions, and assisted with negotiating on those terms and conditions. She has also provided organization-wide monitoring, oversight, and support for compliance to Cerner Quality System (CQS) for the Interoperability, Laboratory and Global organizations impacting over 500 associates.
Kedra is a summa cum laude graduate of Howard University and has a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing. She also has a Juris Doctor from University of Illinois College of Law specializing in corporate law. She is an avid reader, thinker and mom. (Return to Core Board Members Page)
